Visit to the Land!

I have just returned from Bali where I spent time on our land, deciding where the meditation/retreat centre will be built, setting out pegs and discussing plans with Nengah and Iluh. Walking on the land felt different this time. The beautiful stone wall is now fully encasing our little piece of Balinese paradise, and I felt cocooned in its energy. I feel so excited to be here!

The top left corner of the land, Nengah, our building supervisor and good friend, Iluh, his wife and their nephew, Augus.

The wall stretching down the hillside....

The top right corner, where the large outdoor shower will be.....It will be filled with plants and a wall covered in artwork by my girlfriend Terri, from Canada.

Pegs are set out for the meditation centre bedroom...

Looking up the wall from the road.....the wall is 48 metres long

This is the halfway mark, where the ground will be leveled and a bale or table and chairs will sit.

One day this will be the position of a small cafe, serving organically grown food from the garden....

This will be the view from our bedroom window.....

Sunrise! The outline of the Island of Lombok can be seen.....
